Wedding invitations with original illustration inspired by traditional mehndi henna tattoos worn on a bride’s hands and feet during her wedding. Invitation included custom wrap around labels, RSVP card and invitations to ceremony and reception, mehndi and sangit, and sunday brunch. Wedding program, place cards, table numbers, and other signs for the venue carried the theme of the invitation through to the event.
GARY & DAVID : Fall wedding in Minneapolis, MN
Simple wedding invitation and RSVP card inspired by the artwork of Calvin & Hobbes, a favorite of the grooms. A design of overlapping fall leaves represented the union of the grooms, a purple northern maple leaf represents David’s Wisconsin and Minnesota roots while the orange sweet gum leaf represents Gary who hails from Texas.
ADINA & AMIT : Save the date for summer wedding in Long Island, NY
Adina & Amit live in Haifa, Israel and traveled to Long Island, NY to celebrate their wedding with their family and friends in the United States. The Save the Date used custom illustration representing the Shiv’at HaMinim, or Seven Species, seven agricultural products listed in the Torah (Hebrew bible) as being fruits of the land of Israel. Though the wedding took place in the States, the theme of the wedding carried the couple’s love of Israel home to the US.
